John Wayne

I was wondering if this movie was one of his first Republic picture films? I am trying to figure out why this film of Wayne's by Paul Mavern is out in a Republic Pictures/Artisian Ent DVD. MOst of JW's other early Paul Mavern B westerns are available only on the Public Domain and/or cheaper DVD's. King of the Pecos gets special treatment by being remastered and in the Artisian collection of John Wayne movies. I wish they would remaster all of the Duke's early films.
