You're referring to the fact that Joe Dougherty is credited here as playing a stuttering grasshopper. I submitted a correction. He should, of course, be credited as playing a stuttering bird.
That, however, is not the worst thing about the cast list. See this thread: imdb.com/board/bd0000042/nest/132510020. Even though the misinformation has spread throughout the internet, it's extremely unlikely that Tommy Bond (best known as Butch in the "Our Gang" series) provided the voice of Owl Jolson.
