... in my considering this film a complete bore! I love, love, love classic films. I eat, breath, live for classic films, yet this one I couldn't even finish it. First time ever it has happened with a classic film. And I'm flabbergasted that it actually won some awards. Hollywood, so corrupt, even in its earlier days.... always has and always will. . . There's nothing great about this movie, NOTHING.

It actually won some awards? It won best picture for 1937, that's all....
