Hey there

I was wondering who the Frank Morgan character is based on? Can't find any info on this. He plays Ziggy's rival in the film.

I liked the relations between Ziegfeld and Billings. Even though they were sort of rivals, they were not total enemies. Even though Billings would tease Ziegfeld and laugh at his (usually) temporary fallings, he would still help him out, send him money, etc. And the way Billings comforted Ziegfeld at the end after the crash, you could see they were really old friends.
