some random observations........

[[[possible SPOILERS]]]

So, what do you think?

Did O’Hara tell the world of the final moments of the "great" General Yang and his thug officers?? Or was O’Hara just blowing smoke up the General’s sundress??

The title of this film kinda gives the ending away doesn’t it? Bad title.

I’m glad to see that little rat weasel Leach, get his in the end. That character bugged me, I laughed when O’Hara knocked him out with a single hard blow.

At first I thought that the actor that played the drunkard Brighton was Uncle Charlie from ‘My Three Sons’. Heck, he even sounded like blustery Uncle Charlie! LOL!

What was the German (or Austrian) officer doing there? Training Yang’s troops I know; but was he a lone-wolf mercenary or an agent in the service of his nation?

That actress Madeleine Carroll was a stunner wasn’t she? Wow. Such eyes! Good actress for the time as well. Too bad that she didn’t become a big, big star.

The actor that portrayed Mr. Wu; totally unconvincing. AND, a wholly unnecessary character I might add............

And what happened to Sam, the monkey? ;-)

Overall a nice little film. Under-rated I think.
