Warner Bros. Archive Collection DVD... are they all DVD-Rs??

I recently bought this DVD from HMV... and was a bit confused... it was not a professionally made DVD... it was a DVD-R (albeit pretty good quality)...

perhaps the original pressing sold out, so Warner Bros. started making bootleg copies and are selling them as "official"... or are they all DVD-Rs??
