Guest programmer, Cher, picked this?

I love this movie myself, but I think it's lesser known than other Fred and Ginger movies. I was just a bit surprised Cher would pick this one, don't know why exactly.

She also thought Astaire's "smoking, gum chewing" sailor was "cute" and different than his usual tuxedo'd persona.

I was watching that movie last night and I remember Cher's comment about the song Harriet Hilliard sang but was that song cut out? I believe she sang another song. Could she have sung it in a different scene that I missed? (I did have to answer the phone for about ten minutes). Does anyone know?

Yes, she did. Probably in the first 45 minutes. After she gets her makeover from Lucy and reconnects with Randolph Scott, they decide to leave and go back to her place to eat.
