Most Beautiful Woman

There are three beautiful women in this movie: Gloria Holden as Countess Zaleska, Marguerite Churchill as Janet, and Nan Grey as Lily. Which one do you think is the the most beautiful? Why?

I'd have to go with Janet. Not only was she hot, but her humorous attitude was pretty sexy too.

Gloria Holden was the most classically beautiful..
Marguerite Churchill was the loveliest in a contemporary way..
Nan Grey was the prettiest, in a very young, fresh way.

In short...A three way TIE!

Ahhhh. If only the movie could have been made pre-code to make all 3 of them that much more sexy!! What a great assemblage of hotties in one early Dracula movie!!

I choose Nan Grey. Marguerite Churchill's nice, but too skinny. As for Gloria Holden ... I'd say she's more of a handsome woman than beautiful, and definately not my type.

I've been watching 1920s - 1930s movies recently.

Very few actresses of the time could be successful today. Marguerite Churchill was one of those few who could step into a 2013 film without anyone the wiser. She was beautiful, intelligent, and playful, with an on-screen appearance that "the camera loves".

Stupid!?! I never called you stupid! To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people!

I think Janet was most beautiful, especially in that evening dress with flowers.

I think Gloria Holden was. Dark and creepy yet extremely classy.

I'd choose Gloria Holden, which I'd say it's my type when it comes to actresses (early-mid '30s). She had an awesome, beautiful and strong bone structure. And her eyes were gorgeous, too. And that deep, sexy voice...

I'd say Nan Grey really looked beautiful and cute in a more contemporary way. She would be considered gorgeous and sexy even nowadays, even if beauty standards have changed a lot compared to 80 years ago.

As for Marguerite Churchill, I'm sorry to disagree, but didn't find her pretty nor even charming at all, though perhaps it has to do with her annoying role in it.

I definitely have to go with Nan Gray. Nothing wrong with the other two but I found her to be very cute and attractive
