A great heartwarming tale

This is a wonderful film that captures the sweetness of young Shirley Temple. Here she plays an orphan who needs a family. I love the music and enjoy the song "at the Codfish Ball". It happens to be one of my favorite classics

I agree. Shirley Temple is simply adorable and "At The Codfish Ball" is definately my favorite song of the entire movie!

Have you ever seen "The Littlest Rebel"? That's another great Temple movie :)

a bit rushed towards the ending...i'd have liked to see more of stars "real" family but not bad at all

Yep, it's FANTASTIC!

The Codfish Ball dance is probably the best of Shirley's career.

A lot of films back then seems to kind of rush the ending. They'll present a semi-solution and the show is over .. basically.
