I haven't seen it yet, but apparently Olivier's acting style changed after William Wyler's Wuthering Heights. I've only seen on Olivier film pre- 1939 (Fire over England), and I was just wondering wether it was noticable (the acting style)

Yes, maddocks, it is different, but he's still pretty good. The film, however, is not so good.

being a Shakespeare play everybody acts very theatrically but I have no problem with it. it's the closer thing to watch Olivier on stage :)
