My school happens to be doing the musical this year and I am one of the few people auditioning (surprisingly) for Reno. I think I definitely have the advantage on the acting side, but singing is a different matter. I have wonderful pitch, but a rather low range. What range is the part of Reno?

shareYeah, Reno's got a pretty low range, so I wouldn't worry about that. She has to be very soulful in most of her songs though, so ham it up, especially in Blow, Gabriel, Blow. I think in You're the Top she hits a few D's, and if your Billy is as inept as I was, she may hit an E... but your Billy will probably be an actual Tenor, lol.
