My school is doing the 1987 production of Anything Goes which changes Bonnie to Erma and cuts out Heaven Hop. I am playing Erma and we really want to put the Heaven Hop back in. Any suggestions for where or how? I would really appreiciate it.
You probably won't be able to do it for copyright reasons. When a company isues a score for an ameture production what you are given is all you are legaly alowed to use.
shareActually, "Heaven Hop" isn't from "Anything Goes" in the first place, it's from an earlier Cole Porte show called "Paris" and was interpolated into the 1962 revival of "Anything Goes." Since the revival version is all that was available for decades, everyone thinks of the song as part of the "Anything Goes" score. Be happy you're doing the 1987 version, it's far superior to the earlier one.
