DON'T READ THE SPOILERS

Classic murder mystery movie, with comedy, with some great details that surprise most viewers. Just hang in there the first 15 minutes or so, because after that it gets faster and faster and faster. And if you want, pay attention to clues even in the first 15 minutes, because they're in there, a la Agatha Christie and the like. I lent this movie to a guy who's about 22 who'd never heard of William Powell the other day. "Did you like it?" "I _loved_ it! It was great!" No need to watch the first Thin Man movie first, they're separate mysteries and either way is fine.
