I tend to prefer it to The Thin Man, so yes. Best of the series. I think it was still a new concept by the second one, but Powell and Loy had their chemistry down here. Near perfection.

I definitely like this one best, you're right they had their chemistry down in this one and she feels much more a part of the mystery whereas in the first one she just seemed to be spying on her husband, who was solving the mystery on his own.

I like these two best in this movie, but liked the first movie's mystery better.

I liked it for the cast and the style, but it's impossible to keep track of who is suspected of embezzling, blackmailing, cheating, stalking, being unfaithful to, being married to, and killing whom.
