This Would Be Ripe for a Mel Brooks or 'Airplane'-Style Comedy

With Ace, (G-man of the skies!) ripping into a manly song at the drop of a hat, THE SAME SONG EVERY EPISODE, and the silly special effects, and the silly situations and cliffhangers, the silly ethnic or racial stereotypes, and the usual blonde and boy sidekick, this would be a very funny comedy if someone knew how to do it right.
