It's a shame that the movie isn't availiable singularly on DVD

Right now VHS is the only version to buy this movie in. As a DVD you have to buy it as a package deal with other movies of the time but I'm not interested in buying it "bulk".

It is a shame. I'm currently watching the version coupled with The Wolf Man. A very nice looking print but the extras are woeful: a trailer for Van Helsing and a trailer for Riddick. A trailer for Riddick? What the hell has that got to do with anything? Whilst a cast and crew commentary may be out of the question I'm sure a film historian could do it justice.

reply

I found the extras very helpful, especially the trailer for Riddick

I've had it on dvd for a few years... not really hard to find in the U.K.

In the US it's an entirely different story..one wonders if this will ever be sold singularly -

Check THE UNIVERSAL VAULT COLLECTION on line. You might find it there. They have a lot of early UNIVERSAL Horror films on DVD. Good quality and fairly reasonable.

I do hope he won't upset Henry...

I read that there may be a blu ray release in this movie's future. Finally!
