Tale of Two Cities

i haven't seen it.

Read the book it's probably my favorite novel of all time and yes the ending is sad but in an uplifting way. He sees the lives that he lays down his life for peaceful, useful, prosperous and happy. And he holds a sanctuary in their hearts and the hearts of their descendants generations hence. It is a far far better thing that he does than he has ever done and it's a far far better rest that he goes to than he has ever known.
