Stranded?

Kay Francis works for the "Travelers Aid Society", her job is to help stranded travelers.

kay francis works for the travelers aid which helps stranded travelers usually in port cities such as san francisco,new york, or new orleans. they operated as a charity like the community chest. i want to say nowadays this would be a social worker and i guess maybe i am right. i know the travelers aid used to be in the big railway stations.
