Saw This on TCM Today / Needs Parody Remake?

This was so corny.

I enjoyed the film of the train running through the west

This could be remade for laughs like those Police Story Movies.

A fun watchable movie from when they were still writing what today are the cliches.

Loved this! It was SO bad, it was fab.

The ending lines though will go down in history (History, are you listening?):

Blane: "I've missed you."

Starrett: Well, I called you from the [inaudible.]

Blane: "And I called you."

Starrett: "You did? Where from??"

Blane: [pausing for maximum effect] "From my heart..." [!!!!!]

Cue cheesy music, clinch with no kiss, after all this was Hayes Code period, and maybe there was a rule of no kissin' on train platforms] and roll credits.

Oh god, it was faboo.

went to Chicago in July for the expressed purpose of seeing the Silver Streak - I love trains so this was a great experience. Yes the movie was corny and dated but I loved it just because of the Zephyr
