Entertaining and humorous movie - Many should like it...

There are many movies from this era and earlier that many claim as masterpieces. Now I'm not saying that they aren't masterpieces, but that many people that aren't a fan of old movies aren't going to like them. I probably fall in the 50/50 range where I like some old movies for what they are but I definitely can't sit through many of them.

"She" is one of the movies that I can actually sit through and enjoy. The plot is fun and you do want to know what ends up happening. The acting is good and I would call the weakest actor probably the lead male character. But rest assured, he's not terrible at the role.

The best part about this movie is the "formulaic" plot devices that probably weren't considered formulaic at the time. I had a ball watching the "expedition" group form as it had all the characters of a bad horror movie: You had the main character who is of course a handsome "good guy", his reliable buddy who is also a decent guy but not as awesome as he is, the female love interest/eye-candy, and then the character who's a complete ass and whose only purpose is to die a horrible death due to his own stupidity.

I also want to add that seeing the main character lounge at the feet of "She" as though he was her man-meat was also very comical.

But at the end of it all, it had a pretty serious ending that is sure to make anyone watching at the very least go "Gah"!

Now, I'm not mentioning all the good things about this film. I think from reading the reviews and posts on the forum you can get the other good points that I failed to mention. But I thought I would bring up a few things that stood out to me when I watched the movie. In the end, if you're even on this webpage then you are probably someone who will enjoy this movie.
