locomotive hearse

Does anyone know if this version has the scene of a ghost hearse (locomotive hearse) going up the stairs of Scrooge's house? I saw this a few years ago on TV and now I can't find a DVD with this scene in it. At the time I thought it would be easy to find so I didn't pay attention to the details. Could it be one of the missing minutes of the 1935 version? Could it be in the restored version?

Thanks, Jim

Yes, there is a ghostly hearse, but it is in the street in front of Scrooge's house. It passes by him and disappears in front of his eyes in the distance.

I think you have this mistaken with another version.

You may be thinking of the 1984 "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott.

The "locomotive hearse" was mentioned in the original story, but I don't think that it ever appeared in film in the form Dickens described.

No, this version does not contain a hearse. Neither in the cut nor the uncut version. Just watched it today, no hearse.
