Andy Kaufman of Red Gap

One thing that struck me while watching Ruggles of Red Gap was how much Charles Laughton's facial expressions and body language reminded me of Andy Kaufman. I strongly suspect Kaufman borrowed some of his offbeat persona from Laughton's performance.
