Interesting choices he had. I don't think very much of Norton as an actor, to be honest, so it was interesting to know that at least two of his choices (Ruggles, and Virginia Woolf) are among my favourites, and both of them films I admire for the performances.
So have you watched Ruggles? What did you think of it? Personally, I consider it a masterpiece. Full of wonderful performances. Roland Young is brilliant, Mary Boland was rarely better on film (maybe she's better in The Women?, maybe not), Charles Ruggles did a fine job, Zasu Pitts great... so on down the line. To say nothing of Laughton!
