In what location was it filmed?

In the film, it had a sign that the train station was 25 miles from Albany. I am making the assumption that I assume was designed for me to make which is Albany, NY.

I am wondering where it actually was filmed? Was it in a studio somewhere or in an actual town?

Hi Cane,
This is a very late response but if you're still there and wondering, according to the IMDb Filming Locations section it was filmed at Clark Bonner Ranch in California and at Prudential Studios,5300 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, California. So nowhere near Albany.

You must have just watched this on TCM. I can't believe this is considered a comedy. It's creepy and sad.
