Someone mentioned garbled dialogue but did anyone notice two or three lines of William Powell's dialogue that were dubbed over by a different voice? One example is in the restaurant after Powell leaves Binnie Barnes and goes to another table. I think another was in the laboratory.
Just watched the movie tonight on the DVR and noticed the same things. It was as if they wanted to change/obscure the name of the country for which Cesar Romero's character was spying, and the name of Romero's character-- those always seemed to have been overdubbed. I did a little research on google and discovered an original review of the film from the New York Times: http://movies.nytimes.com/movie/review?res=9907EFD81238E13ABC4E51DFB667838E629EDE
