THREE Best Actor Nominations...???

I can't think of any other film with three Best Actor nominations, can you?

This is the only film in history to receive THREE best actor Oscar nominations.

NO film has ever received three best actress Oscar nominations.

At the time, the "Best Supporting Actor" category didn't exist; Franchot Tone obviously wasn't a lead actor in the film. I believe it was invented so that a three-way "Best Actor" tie wouldn't occur again.

All About Eve has three best actress and two best actor nomination.Also great, right?Only George Sanders won. I don't know about Judy Holiday(the best actress of that year), but Bette Davis and Anne Baxter were just splendid.

Only film in history. Since now we have best supporting actor categories, it probably will remain the only one with three best actor nominations forever.
