Rod Dedeaux an Extra?

Press materials for "Mutiny on the Bounty" note that a number of USC athletes appeared as extras in the film. Perhaps the most famous was Julie Bescos, who portrayed one of the able bodied seamen in this version. Bescos was a three sport (football, basketball, baseball) athlete at USC from 1932 through 1934. He definitely played on the USC varsity baseball team with Rod Dedeaux in 1934. It would make sense then that Dedeaux was one of the USC athletes who appeared in "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935). Identifying him would be another matter.
