Anyone Who Has a Picture of Saturn on His Wall...

I was surprised to see a very realistic and rather large telescopic view of the planet Saturn on the wall of one of the suspects. I don't think I've ever seen astronomy photos on any walls of any sets of films made during the 1930's, period. (unless Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon squeezed one in)

Just watched this great old gem, and I too noticed the Saturn pic. In the 30's, the cosmos was just becoming of interest to the public, as it was within the last few years that Edwin Hubble first proved that there are other galaxies beyond the Milky Way. Exciting times.

And mystery #1 was explained by Einstein's theories of general and special relativity: matter curves space; space tells matter how to behave; and gravity and inertia tell time how fast to go. The real mystery is why anything at all should exist.
