Mary - Spoiler Alert

What the hell is this thing some women have for criminals? After finding out what he did, she destroys the confession and story then tries to catch up with Steve. I was really ticked off when she did that.

Clearly she believed his story. Was she willing to let an innocent man be executed just so she could hang on to her love interest; a murderer? Why she was even still working at the paper after refusing to say where Steve was is beyond me.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]

She was only human. Of course she didn't want an innocent man to be executed, but I think she didn't believe Steve's story, either. She probably figured that there was some mistake.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that she would continue her job at the paper.
