Marihuana injections...

Although I have never seen this picture, I have an enormous banner that was hung outside of theatres during its original release. It shows a picture of a fiendish doctor giving a smugly smiling woman an "injection" using a hypodermic needle. Can anyone tell me if this is actually "how they do it" in the film? I have long wondered.

I'm not sure, as I hven't seen it--I think they smoke it in the movie, although they might inject it too. I'm confused, though--is it even POSSIBLE to do that? What would you do, inject THC?

Hi guys, this isn't a reference to injectable THC. In the movie they show pot becoming a "gateway" drug for the main character and she eventually becomes a heroin addict and pusher. The needle probably is referencing the later scenes of the movie.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense. The poster's question was starting to bother me. I should really see the whole movie.

I have no idea of what u r talking about, but you certainly DON'T inject marihuana!! For God's sake!!! You can smoke or eat it, e basta.

Oh...there's no injecting pot in the film.

But, the leading lady is given some kind of powder in a glass of water (which she drinks despite the fact that she's just threatened the guy with going to the police and telling them everything *huh?*). It's inferred by the music that this is a drug - although it doesn't seem to damage her baby (well, then again listening to Little Gloria...).

However, once Burma became "Ice Queen of the Snow Peddlers" she does develop a habit that involves a needle. Whether this is cocaine or heroin we never hear - just that she "needs a pop" under stress.

Hope this helps.
