Not much else to say other than Lorre was truly exceptional in this role. One of the very best performances ever, especially in a horror film. His mannerisms throughout the picture are simply spellbinding!

shareI wouldn't say that Lorre was overlooked. Like a lot of others who played villains so well, he was stuck with being a supporting actor. But his mannerisms were copied long after he was gone. Particularly in animated scary films.
