"I am the butler." "Be prepared to buttle then. "

This line made me laugh too! Honestly, it made me think of the movie Clue.

"Colonel Mustard: Is this place for you?

Wadsworth: Indeed no, sir. I'm merely a humble butler.

Colonel Mustard: What exactly do you do?

Wadsworth: I buttle, sir.

Colonel Mustard: Which means what?

Wadsworth: The butler is head of the kitchen and dining room. I keep everything tidy."

I think the word "buttle" was used frequently in movies from the '30s. In the movie "Merrily We Live" (also co-starring Brian Aherne), Constance Bennett says, "I'll buttle until the butler arrives."
