Hilarious Cagney movie line

When Robert Armstrong was walking down the hall talking to his collegue about training the new guys he was reading Cagney's dossier and said "Listen to this, Mr. James Davis, doctor of law, doctor of philosophy, Phi Beta Kappa. Now isn't that sweet, PHI BETA KAPPA! Cagney's character was following closely behind them and he retorts "What's yours, Flat Footer Copper? Now that was a clever line. Easily one of his best.

reply

No, no, the best line is when Armstrong draws on the map and says the bad guy is somewhere in this circle, and Cagney says "Six states? Yeah, we got him cornered!".

reply

I agree that is a great line. Cagney has alot of great lines but he has several in this movie.
