About Ann Hardibg
I found a good article written about Ann Harding. Several of her films have a terrible ending for her character; Harding must give up her self, her identity, and her independence for marriage and love...the required happy Hollywood ending. After reading the article, I surmised she wasn't happy by the screenplays endings. Sadly, the article doesn't address this issue. Here is the article, written by Scott O'Brien and originally posted by Moira Finnie on December 8, 2010 at Movie Morlocks:
"Wow. Our town has only had a Whole Foods for three weeks and we already have our first gay kids."
