Epic Battles Scenes

On the movie poster, Cecil B. DeMille even says, "Cast of 10,000". Just looking at all the stunt performers needed to make these scenes work as well as they do is mind boggling. That is why I honor these stunt performers here by awarding them the Best Stunt Award for 1935.

Very epic. I couldn't help thinking of the Siege scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy while watching the Siege scene int his film and thinking "Without DeMille we would never have had the blue print for later epics, be they Lawrence of Arabia or Lord of the Rings."

I totally agree the Lord of the Rings has a lot of thanks to be made to DeMille...but then maybe we all do...he put the "pic" in EPIC...
