I am watching Charlie Chan in Egypt right on the Movies! TV Channel. This is a really good one! It's a genuine mystery with really well done sets and dialogue. Can't wait to find out who the killer is.

shareYes, a genuine mystery without a forced reveal at the end but rather a logical ending with some genuine suspense. Good atmosphere, good photography, solid acting.
One of the best Chans I've seen so far and somewhat underated compared to the others that are mostly severely overrated here on IMDB.
Even Stepin Fetchit that everybody loves to hate isn't as annoying and incomprehensible as in some other films.
