A Most Unique Sequel?

Bride's storyline begins immediately after the burning of the windmill. Are there any other sequels that come to mind that pick up the action immediately after the events of the previous film? It would be interesting to see an edit of the two films back to back (losing the prologue.) Not for release but just for shits and giggles. Obviously, the different Elizabeth's would have to be overlooked, but it would be fun to see the other, more subtle changes to the sets, actors, makeup, etc.

Other than Draculas Daughter, I can't think of any other sequel in any genre taking place directly after the events of the first film

Halloween II (1981) takes place directly after the 1978 film.

That doesn't count since the Halloween movie of 2018 ignores the events in this film

How does that not count? Definitely “Halloween” (78) & “Halloween II” (81) should count as a movie & it’s sequel connecting back to back.

Also, “Friday the 13th III” & “Friday 13th IV”.

Somewhat “Alien” & “Aliens” because it starts with Ripley in her pod being rescued.
