Bride 7 ft tall?

From what I have read The Bride is supposed to be 7 foot tall,right? If she is thought then why does she appear only slightly taller than Colin Clive in the film?

Universal missed a big opportunity here in a sequel where the Bride plays basketball and you would have the first sports horror movie

Yes but Teen Wolf wasn't the first sports horror movie. That goes to Friday the 13th part 3, since that was the first time Jason put on the hockey mask

She wasn't stubby yet in 1935. In the opening scene, as Mary Shelley, she was pretty hot.

Well, she and her husband Charles Laughton look like they led a pretty good life, going out to do some terrific acting, and coming home to some good solid meals.
