Someone has come to me and asked me questions about the mother's dress. They wanted to know the type of dress - I didn't know they wanted to know the coloring I said it was battleship grey with black piping they asked the material the dress is made of I wasn't sure I said I believed it was wool. But it could be a blend or something else. I'm not sure of the coloring as it appears in the b/w version as a grey but in one of the colorized versions it's blue.
shareKitty is wearing one of my favorite type of dresses for a woman. The buttons can be adjusted to show a little or a lot of leg or cleavage depending on the time of day--for work or after work drinks. Over various BL blog sites they always say Kitty is looking up at her tattered dress. I believe her dress was so tight that when she was struggling to keep it on the buttons just popped one at a time making a great strip tease for the audience. As her dress goes up up can see clearly her dress was unbuttoned and not torn. As for the material that her dress was made out of someone said it was a wool blend dress---I guess that is correct for that time period I don't know. I've seen different versions of the colorized BL and her dress look grey in one and in another a dark blue but in both cases it was pulled off of her in an unceremonious way!!
