Better with out Vronsky's reaction

spoiler alert-

I think the ending would has been better without Vronsky's reaction ... With just the train silently driving away.

Vronsky's reaction to Anna's death was so empty and void of passion. Is that supposed to be part of the take away?

I'd rather imagine him wrecked with guilt and despair. Not casually having a conversation with his friend.

Ok, he's supposed to be selfish and cold. Sorry, now I get it. I (admittedly) didn't read the 900 page book but wanted to at least see a cliff notes version after reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being years ago, which references it a lot.

I absolutely agree with you.
