How do I get my hands on this movie?

Does anyone know how I can get my hands on this movie? I'm doing a paper on how Nazi ideology is present in German musicals from the 1930s and 1940s. If you all have any other suggestions on movies I should see for this topic I would appreciate it.

I just saw this movie a moment ago and I was about to try and answer your question, but then I noticed the date on your post was exactly nine years and two days ago! So I assume that you finished your paper and graduated whatever course you were taking.

Just for the record, I didn't notice any Nazi ideology in this movie, and interestingly enough Wikipedia described it as an anti-Nazi film. So if you look hard enough you can find things that support Nazi Ideology, or things that make it a subversive anti-Nazi film, but either way is really a stretch. Basically it is a musical comedy based on an 18th century play. Some of the film's imagery is wonderfully bizarre, particularly the god Mercury gliding along on winged roller skates, and the scene where Mercury and Jupiter descend from Olympus on a giant umbrella. Definitely worth watching if you're a fan of obscure and strange old films.

If no one has uploaded this film to Youtube by the time you read this (and there's no reason why they shouldn't, a film this old is obviously public-domain by now) then you can buy a copy from amazon.de the German branch of Amazon.
