Diana Serra Cary, Silent Film Star "Baby Peggy" appeared as an extra in this film.
She is visible in the graducation scene, when Mickey Rooney is acting up (imagine that!) and his mother is calming him down. There is a long shot, and Diana is very visible in a row of girls.
