Silent aero engine

When Mr Memory is dying his last job was remembering the design for a silent aero engine. Before radar was in general use and detecting the sound of aero engines in the distance (such as with those concrete accoustic mirrors on some of the coast of Britain) was an early warning sign of potential enemy aircraft approaching, a silent aero engine would have been a real advantage.
