Finally available from Warner Archives!

The little known classic Warner musical, Wonder Bar (1934) is available in a WA manufactured-on-demand DVD. The images are sharp. It's not yet on Netflix DVD.

This movie will probably drive the politically correct into a rage, but normal people will see a very funny early Busby Berkeley musical showing Hollywood filming technology at its peak. Berkeley's unseen mirrors and trademarked top shots during musical numbers will have you amazed.

The only problem is Al Jolson's vocal delivery. His high-pitched voice with rapid-fire speech is sometimes hard to understand considering sound recording technology of the time.

Set your DVD player to 1.33 aspect ratio to enjoy this as 1934 audiences did.
