It took me awhile to figure out who it was, I couldn't really watch this movie while getting ready for work, but I stopped for about 20 minutes of it, and WISH I could have seen the whole thing. Someday I will. Anyway, Robert Burns' birtday is Sunday, maybe they'll show it again! Seriously though, I have Aherne's bio somewhere, never did read it, it made me want to start reading it today. He was just beautiful!! This movie LOOKED like it was made yesterday, not 75 years ago.

DVR'ed this on Sept 19th. Just watching it now. Oh yes, Brian Aherne Was one of the handsomest & finest actors! I especially enjoyed his sense of timing in comedic roles.
