I've just watched the film then saw your post so I went through it again (fast forwarded) to find where John Wayne sings. I couldn't find it?

You're not thinking of the movie "Riders of Destiny" are you? In that movie the Duke plays Singin' Sandy Saunders and IRRC he sings twice, once at the start and another in a room where Gabby Hayes hilariously says "ahh, I could listen to that all night". Which was funny because it was an AWFUL song and obviously not Wayne singing since the voice was much lower than the Dukes.

"The Man from Utah" and "Lawless Range" were the only other two movies where the Duke sang in (although it wasn't actually him singing) if I remember correctly.

So i'd love to help you but I dont think he did sing in this movie.

sorry can't help you on the song,, but I agree that this is a pretty darn good western I must admit.
