Jane Baxter

I thought Jane Baxter was very good in this as Missy, the girl the young prince leaves behind to follow Katusha to Siberia. Jane's acting was so much more natural and enjoyable than Anna's. And she was pretty, too.

Really, I don't get Sten's appeal at all, or why anyone thought she would give Garbo any competition. She was lovely, indeed. But her acting in this was atrocious, IMO, and her presence, charisma-free.
