Unusually clear, crisp picture *Minor spoiler
minor spoiler - i had a hard time believing this was from 1934. That's about the clearest, best in-focus film quality i've seen from the 1930s-1950s. There ARE a few white lines and spots here and there showing the degrading film, but they must have used the best cameras/film available to get such crisp, clear photography.
regarding historical accuracy - yeah, they had a selective memory when making this film... (see the actual accounts at wikipedia.org) they made him out to be just a poor, humble, dumb guy that didn't even know he had robbed a bank.
My favorite line from the movie:
-What is your name?
-Jesús.
-Jesús what?
-I dunno.
