Nude Natives

We just watched TAHM last night and I was surprised to see a lot of nude or topless native women in the beginning scenes. We have the 2 volume set of 8 movies and this is the only one to show nudity.

The scenes have the actors intermingled with the natives, so I wondered at the time of viewing if these were real natives and the scenes were filmed on location, or were they local American women who just bared it all.
