Worker's Propaganda Finale

Was anyone else uncomfortable with the way this film ended? The workers and smiling children marching endlessly made me feel like I was watching a Communist propaganda film. Not to mention their continuous chant of "We're out of the Red". Is it just me, or was there something not so subtle intended here?
